CCPIT and NSW Business Chamber sign MOU

China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and NSW Business Chamber signed Memorandum of Understanding in Sydney which stated that the two organisations would cooperate closely in information exchange, business missions and projects.

Gui ru Ling, Commercial Counsellor of Chinese Consulate General in Sydney , together with the CCPIT regional presidents and members of business communities witnessed the signing of the MOU. Upon signing the MOU, Songgen Dong, CCPIT Vice Chairman, said that the cooperation between China and Australia has been increasing in recent years.

Investment from China involves trade, agriculture, infrastructure construction, financial services, shipping services and other fields. He suggested that China and Australia continue to deepen the cooperation in energy and mining field, and in the meanwhile widen the cooperation in services, new technology and environmental protection industries.

To provide an efficient communication system and platform, CCPIT is committed to promoting business communications between China and Australia. Roger Hood, President of NSW business chamber, stated that CCPIT played a critical role in the development of Chinese economic, and Australian companies were looking forward to export agricultural products, meat, luxury goods, wine and other products into China and hoping CCPIT could give necessary assistance.

Roger said the Chamber wished that, with the signing of this MOU with CCPIT, companies in the two countries could fully utilize the services provided by both originations and continuously explore opportunities for win-win cooperation.
