Business Vitality - Finalist for WCB Best small business Project award diagnostic tool

Release Date

15 February 2013

Business Vitality Check has been selected as a finalist for the World Chambers Federation’s prestigious Best Small Business Project Award diagnostic tool as part of the NSW Business Chambers entry to the awards.
NSW Business Chamber is competing with other chambers of commerce from around the world for the Award including the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, the Chamber of Commerce of Lima, the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Metro Naga Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The winner will be announced at the 8th World Chamber’s Federation Congress in Qatar in April.
“It is a tremendous honour that the innovative work of our business experts has been selected for recognition by the global business community,” said Stephen Cartwright.
“The NSW Business Chamber’s Business Vitality Check is a web based diagnostic tool that supports small business growth by improving capability, productivity and profitability.
“Following completion, a small business owner receives a comprehensive 140 page ‘Recommendations Report’ written by NSW Business Chamber experts, complete with industry benchmarks on how to improve and prioritise immediate areas for action.
“To date, more than 3,000 Australian small businesses have completed the diagnostic tool.
“Just like the business world, it’s a tough competition between chambers from across the world to be recognised for the work they do in helping their members succeed and prosper in a difficult global economy, but I’m confident the NSW Business Chamber’s entry will give the others a run for their money.
“The World Chambers Federation is a great avenue for the global chamber movement to come together and share ideas and work together to improve global prosperity, so even to make the shortlist of finalists is an achievement in itself.
“The World Chambers Federation Congress in Qatar will also provide a great opportunity for us to pick up the latest trends and innovations in business ahead of the third staging of the Australian Business Congress in Sydney on 1 August.”
